The Market in the northwest suburbs is still slow but properties in the area of Arlington Heights, Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mount Prospect, Palatine, Schaumburg, Rolling Meadows and Roselle are selling more today than 6 months ago.  The amount of listings that are available are up but not by much.  The good news is the amount pending and closed in the past 3 months have almost doubled!!  The prices are so low right now the buyers are coming out to take advantage of it, that is how we are keeping up with the amount of new listings that come on the market.  If you have your home for sale in the northwest suburbs or any area nearby you need to make sure you are priced aggressively and staged correctly.  Buyers now are shopping online and looking at a lot of listings.  It is very important to have your home for sale staged and have great pictures of the interior online.  If the buyer is not impressed with what they see online then they won't even want to see the home personally.
